
LED lights need to be protected by the driver. The main reasons are as follows:
1. Because LED is a characteristic sensitive semiconductor device and has negative temperature characteristics, LED driver power supply (also called driver) is to protect its stable working state during the application process.
2. LED devices have almost strict requirements for driving power supply. Unlike ordinary incandescent bulbs, LEDs can be directly connected to 220V AC mains power. LED is driven by low voltage. It is necessary to design complex conversion circuit. Different LED lamps for different purposes should be equipped with different power adapters.
3. To design a good power supply, we must comprehensively consider the factors of efficiency conversion, effective power, constant current accuracy, power supply life, and electromagnetic compatibility, because the role of power supply in the whole lamp is as important as that of human heart.
